Individuals in these positions will primarily work on a new R01 research project funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH; pending). The study will use a prospective longitudinal design across early adolescence to examine sluggish cognitive tempo symptoms as a predictor of internalizing outcomes (depression, anxiety, suicidality). Using a developmental psychopathology framework, this study will incorporate physiological assessment and behavioral tasks in addition to information collected from adolescents, parents, and teachers.
Study Manager Position. We are looking for a full-time Master's level (or equivalent years with research coordination experience) study manager. The study manager will work with the investigators to execute the study, including oversight of research coordinators and undergraduate research assistants. Previous clinical training (e.g., Master’s in clinical, school, or counseling psychology) is highly desirable.
Clinical Research Coordinator Positions. We are looking for 2 full-time Bachelor’s level clinical research coordinators. The coordinators will work with the investigators and study manager on the day-to-day study activities, including recruitment and scheduling, conducting study visits (including IQ testing, and physiological assessment), scoring and summary report writing, and data management and entry.
For all positions, a minimum of two-year commitment is required, with opportunity for additional years of employment. Applicants of diverse and underrepresented backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.
