Research Assistant Position at Florida State University
Dr. Jesse Cougle is seeking to hire a full-time research assistant for an NIH-funded study evaluating a computerized anger-reduction treatment for smoking cessation. The anticipated start date for the position is in July of 2018. This is a one-year position.
Responsibilities will include coordinating participant recruitment, scheduling and tracking participants, overseeing assessments, and data collection and management. The position will be based in the Department of Psychology, Florida State University. The RA will also be involved in other projects in the lab, which include studies related to OCD, anxiety disorders, anger/aggression, and body dysmorphic disorder. They will be supervising research assistants and acting as lab manager. Publication and presentation opportunities will be available. The ideal candidate would be a recent graduate who is looking for additional research experience before beginning their doctoral studies in clinical psychology.
